My Little Box Review

6115755_origI’m sure most of you are familiar with the concept of Beauty Boxes – but for those of you who aren’t, Beauty Box subscriptions are a fun way for us beauty lovers to get a special surprise each month!
It’s pretty simple – you pay a certain amount in subscription (prices range from £6 to a more hefty £29.99 for limited edition and more high end boxes), and then you will get a box filled with beauty goodies sent to your door step each month!

There are a lot of options out there, a quick internet search will list the many companies and different things they offer. Some companies are focused on make-up, while others offer an array of organic skin care products.
Intrigued – I decided to give the concept a try three months ago.

After some research I finally zeroed in on a French company called My Little Box. The first thing that caught my eye was the lovely design of the box. It screamed quality and impeccable presentation.
My little box has an in house illustrator, Kanako – who makes the most beautiful drawings. You will also find inspiring quotes with the illustrations, they are so beautiful you could frame them!
Each monthly box is hand-picked and based around a different theme, and it is filled with beauty, fashion and life style goodies (we’ve had mugs, scarves and even a mobile phone case!)

Contents of February Box: L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper, By Terry Precision Waterproof Eye Liner, My Little Beauty Complexion Enhancer, DHC Blotting Paper, mobile phone case, Les Petit Mois D’Ines (inspiring words in a glass bottle) and a My Little World magazine.

The other great thing about My Little Box is that most of the time they will give you full sized well-known products. They also have their own brand – My Little Beauty which come out with amazing product each month. Usually the boxes are worth around 50 – 60 pounds.
My Little Box also work with different fashion / beauty icons each month to create the perfect box (Dianne Von Furstenberg, Tsumori Chisato and Ines de La Fressange to name a few).  Let me know if you want me to do a monthly review of the box.

I’m happy to admit that the arrival of this box is something I look forward to each month – cannot recommend this enough!

Each box costs £11 + 3.95 P&P

Thank you so much for the review!
I have been oohing and ahhing over which beauty box to choose for months and you’ve narrowed down the options.
What are your thoughts on Glossybox? That was one of my main contenders.

Glossybox focuses on beauty products whereas My Little Box has a variety of beauty and lifestyle products each month. Birchbox is also a lovely option, it really depends on what you’re looking for! 🙂
